As GEN Future Generations College, we completed the 2021-2022 academic year on Friday, June 17, 2022. With our 36 years of experience, we believe that we have had a productive academic year in our 3rd year under the umbrella of the GEN brand. The progressive vision and experience we have; Thanks to our expert teachers, education coordinators, managers, digital education systems team, publishing group and all other employees we have been working with for a long time, the fully equipped formal education we provided at the school continued successfully. We have successfully completed our curriculum planned at all levels, especially with the outstanding efforts of our teachers, with the support and solidarity of our students who come to school prepared every day without losing their internal discipline, and our parents who follow the entire education process of the students at home. During this process, we continue to advance our work with excitement and improve our system with the satisfied feedback of our parents.
2022-2023 ACADEMIC YEAR STARTING SCHOOL PROGRAMS
We are realizing and developing our plans for the 2022-2023 academic year in line with the statements of the Ministry of Education. As announced by the Ministry of Education, the academic year will start on Monday, September 12, 2022.
In order to achieve the goals of the GEN College English Language Education Program, which is prepared based on the European Language Framework Program (CEFR), at the highest level, a 2-week Foreign Languages Acceleration Program will be implemented at the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 9th grade levels as of August 31. 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th grades who transferred to our school from a public school and enrolled in this program. Our grade students are invited. Within the scope of the program, in addition to predominantly English education, optional second foreign language education (German, French, Spanish and Coding) will be provided. Before this program, the English Proficiency Test was administered to our 5th grade students on June 20. The English Proficiency Test will be administered again on August 31 for 5th grade students who cannot attend the exam. For our 9th grade students, on September 12th English Proficiency Exam will be administered. As a result of the English Proficiency Exam, "English Level Classes" that students will attend throughout the year will be created and English textbooks will be prepared for students at the relevant language levels.
Our 8th and 12th grade students, for whom we carry out the Exam Preparation Program together with the Ministry of Education program at GEN College, will participate in the GEN College LGS / YKS Acceleration Program as of Monday, August 22, and our 11th grade students will participate in the GEN College LGS / YKS Acceleration Program as of Wednesday, August 31st and will work intensively until September 9. Detailed information about the Acceleration Program will be communicated to students and parents at the relevant grade levels in the coming days.
An Orientation Program will be held for our Kindergarten and Primary School 1st grade students the week before the school opening date and our students will be able to get used to school life easily.
In order to measure the readiness level of our students for the 2022-2023 academic year, the Readiness Exam will be administered to 5th, 6th, 7th, 9th and 10th grade students on Monday, September 12, and to 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students on Thursday, September 22nd.
2022‐2023 ACADEMIC YEAR JERSEY, SERVICE, PUBLICATION INFORMATION
Jersey sales for the 2022-2023 academic year will start on August 1. Parents who want to buy products or who are students from the previous year and need new products can purchase their jerseys after August 1.www.gengezegeni.com They can purchase from our website. In addition, parents who want to try the jerseys can visit the GEN Pop-up Store established in our schools and determine the sizes.www.gengezegeni.com They can place an order from our website or from the school. Uniform orders will be delivered to our parents within 5 business days after August 15th.
The shuttle company we have agreed with as GEN College will contact our parents in July and make the necessary plans for transportation to school for our students who want to use the shuttle. Parents who will use the service will make their service payments to the service company on a monthly basis, and the service payment will not be collected annually by the service company.
GEN College Publication Package (Resource Publications, Foreign Language Publications, Reading Books, GEN Publications, Digital Memberships, Applied Products), which will be used throughout the academic year, will be given to students by the school in the first week of the school opening. Publications will be given to 8th, 11th and 12th grade students, who are the exam preparation group, during the Acceleration Program period. Publication packages will be delivered to kindergarten and first grade primary school students at the orientation at the school.
