Subject: 2020-2021 GEN College Primary School Semester Holiday Study Program

       Dear Parent, Dear Student,

Together with our GEN College academic staff, students and you, our valued parents, we are completing the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year in good health and with a successful work tempo. In our schools since August, T.R. Our intensive education program, which we continue with both face-to-face and online live lessons in line with the pandemic precautionary decisions taken by the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Education, will be interrupted for a 3-week semester break between January 22 and February 15, with the decision of the Ministry of Education. As GEN College, we wish the semester break to be healthy, enjoyable and productive for our students. We are planning the "GEN College 1st Term Completion Program", which will be held online by our school in the third week of the semester break, so that our students can rest during this period, make up for their shortcomings and reinforce what they have learned while spending time on their hobbies and social lives.

The Primary School Semester Holiday Study program has been prepared as follows:

  • 25-31 January 2021 (1st week of holiday):  Rest Week

  • 1-7 February 2021 (2nd week of holiday):      Rest Week

  • 8-12 February 2021 (3rd week of the holiday):    1st Term Deficiencies Completion Program

We hope that our students will have a healthy and enjoyable holiday by making time for themselves, their loved ones and their hobbies between January 25 and February 7, which are the first two weeks of the semester break. The GEN College 1st Term Completion Program, which will take place between 8-12 February, the third week of the semester break, will be held through distance education accompanied by online lessons, and 4 lessons will be held a day between 09.30 - 12.35. Participation in the program is not mandatory. The aim is to complete the shortcomings of our students and increase their success with the subject repetition courses that will be held within the scope of the GEN College 1st Term Deficiency Completion Program. However, Ata Publications' Semester Holiday Book and GEN Publications English Semester 3GEN homework, which will be given to our students from school just before the holiday, are expected to be completed by our students before this program. Semester holiday assignments will begin to be checked the week of February 8th. In addition, it is recommended that our 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students obtain their own Error Booklet from K12net before this program and receive the questions they could not answer in the trial exams they have attended so far, as PDF or printouts. Especially our 4th grade students can learn by checking the answer key after solving the questions in the Error Booklets and watching the question solution videos. In this program, our students will have the opportunity to ask their teachers if they cannot answer the questions in the Error Booklets. With the completion of the GEN College 1st Term Completion Program, specially prepared for our 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students, it is aimed that our students will start the 2nd term academically ready and rested.

Starting from the day to be notified to our parents by our school this week, you can come to our school and get the GEN College 1st Term End File, specially prepared for our student, and the following end-of-term documents included in it:

  • Cumulative Report of Trial Exams (except for first year students)

This certificate indicates that you have successfully completed the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year with distance education at GEN College.
